Come and enjoy a hands-on lo-tech and no-tech building workshop.

The Roots Architecture Workshop will be making the connection between world music and humanitarian architecture. With talks, The Roots Architecture Info-bazaar and live internet link-ups to projects from around the planet along with all that the WOMAD festival has to offer.

Ticket price includes full festival access (worth £150), 4 day workshop, materials, lunch.

A kit list will be issued nearer the weekend and basic safety training will be provided before commencing the projects.

  Roots Architecture Ticket purchasers contact details will be passed to Tangent Studio Ltd trading as tangetnfield solely for the purpose of communicating information specific to this event.

  Holders of a WOMAD roots architecture workshop ticket are permitted to enter the campsite and festival arena after 2pm on thursday 22 July.

  All tickets are non-returnable.

  We do not offer refunds on the basis of inclement weather.

  Lost tickets will not be replaced.

  Format for the workshops is subject to change.

  All workshop participants will agree and comply with the safety proceedures prescribed.

  All workshop participants will be requested by email to bring a basic set of hand tools [kit list] in good working order.
