Made entirely of recycled ring-pulls held together by a handmade crochet structure, these Bottletop Bags come in an array of tropical colours: from the rainbow version to the funky metallic/silver with bright coloured crochet in yellow, silver or black.
Who are Bottletop -
Bottletop is one of the most forward thinking and exciting charities in the UK. Since its birth in 2002, Bottletop's dynamic approach to charity has generated funds in excess of £250,000 for grass roots health education projects.
They recently set up a project, training people from a very poor favela community in Brazil to make bags and belts from recycled ring pulls from the tops of cans. One small idea has flourished and there are now 30 people trained and able to earn an income from making the bags, helping to improve their very difficult lives.
