Sherwood released his new album 'Becoming A Cliché' on 13th November through Real World Records. It opens with "Animal Magic"- all mournful mariachi trumpets and vocals by Lee "Scratch" Perry with Sherwood?s two daughters. "Cliché" also features Pop Group/Maffia mainman Mark Stewart ("Home Sweet Home"), Dennis Bovell (Dennis Bovine Part 1), the late Bim Sherman, French-Tunisian singer Samia Farah (J'Ai Changé), Little Roy ('A Piece Of The Earth'), Italian rapper Raiz ('Stop The Bloodshed'), LSK ('You Wonder Why' and 'St Peter's Gate'), the frantic dancehall rhythms of Jamaican star Jazzwad (eg 'A Piece Of The Earth') and some chanting monks ('Monastery Of Sound' and 'Home Sweet Home').

"This is my second solo album. It's personal, it's good and I'm very proud of it," concludes Sherwood.
