Värttinä are Finland's best-known roots band. Distinguished by an energetic and compelling sound with ingenious arrangements, complex rhythms and outstanding musicianship the music is dominated by powerful female vocal harmonies pinning you to the back of your seat one minute, haunting and delicate the next.
